CJ ENM has revealed major plans for 2025, including the revival of tvN’s Wednesday-Thursday dramas and the global expansion of its streaming platform, TVING.
CEO Yoon Sang Hyun, alongside key executives from CJ ENM and TVING, shared the company’s vision for the future At the CJ ENM Content Talk 2025 event held on February 10th at its Sangam headquarters in Seoul.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary in the cultural content industry, CJ ENM announced it will release around 65 new dramas and variety shows next year. The company also committed to its biggest investment yet—KRW 150 billion more than last year—to strengthen its leadership in the entertainment industry.
CEO Yoon emphasized CJ ENM’s dedication to growth, stating, “We have always embraced challenges and pushed our limits. Through dramas, variety shows, music, and films, we have helped elevate Korea’s cultural presence. Despite the difficulties in today’s content market, we will continue to invest and expand without hesitation.”
CJ ENM also declared 2025 as a key year for global expansion. The company is working with studios in the U.S., Japan and Southeast Asia to develop joint IP projects. TVING will enter international markets, while Mnet will further strengthen its global influence.
Looking ahead, CJ ENM reaffirmed its commitment to innovation, saying, “We will continue to break new ground and create more opportunities as media and technology advance and language barriers fade.”
