The star connected with fans through a private messaging platform on May 13, saying, “Thanks to SKT, I’ve been getting so many messages from people lately.” He laughed as he added, “A close friend even asked me, ‘Is everything okay? Nothing happened to you, right?’ I told him I’m just doing my best and working hard.”
The buzz began on May 12, when SK Telecom’s YouTube channel uploaded a video titled, “Whaaaaaat a Surprise! The Collaboration of Amazing T Roaming and Ji Chang Wook’s Legendary Transformation.”
In the video, Ji Chang Wook delivers a performance that holds nothing back. He is seen screaming while “transforming” with his phone, wearing a prince-like outfit, and even riding a suitcase like a magic carpet. The commercial humorously and creatively promotes roaming services, allowing users to make calls, send texts, and video chat abroad without stress.
