MBC’s When the Phone Rings has climbed to the top of the chart in just its second week on air. While the drama leans into the cheesy, cringeworthy vibe of a web novel, viewers admit they can’t stop watching, thanks to its addictive plot. Yoo Yeon Seok and Chae Soo Bin, the drama’s leads, claimed the No. 1 and No. 2 spots in the cast rankings. Meanwhile, SBS’s The Fiery Priest 2 dropped to second place. Fans have noted that the comedy feels over-the-top this season and falls short of the first installment.

Netflix’s The Trunk debuted at No. 3, garnering attention for its romantic storyline starring Gong Yoo and Seo Hyun Jin. However, some viewers expressed discomfort with certain elements of the plot and found the characters less likable than expected.
