Ji Chang Wook recently revealed that he does use a stunt double for his action scenes, clearing up some misconceptions.

On Friday, Ji appeared on the YouTube channel ZIP DAESUNG alongside his Gangnam B-Side co-stars Jo Woo Jin and Ha Yoon Kyung. During their appearance, Ji shared some lighthearted and candid moments, including a conversation about his experience watching a previous episode of ZIP DAESUNG featuring the cast of Good Partner.

“I watched it because I know Nam Ji Hyun and Kim Jun Han really well,” Ji explained. Daesung jokingly asked, “Did you ask Kim Jun Han for advice?”

Ji Chang Wook laughed and replied, “There was no need for advice. Jun Han is funny off-camera. He’s one of the funniest guys in our group.”

Jo Woo Jin was surprised, asking, “Really? He’s funny?” He added, “He’s such a kind, hardworking, and talented actor. But when you mentioned advice, I didn’t exactly picture him as the go-to guy for that!” The comment had everyone laughing.

The conversation shifted to Ji Chang Wook’s action scenes. Dealing teased, “I heard you don’t usually use a stunt double.” To which Ji responded quickly, “No, I do use one.”

Caught off guard, Daesung jokingly turned to the crew and said, “You guys gave me the wrong information! I tried to act like I knew what I was talking about, and now it’s awkward,” causing even more laughter.

Smilingly, Jo Woo Jin said, “You’re so good; you create these kinds of misunderstandings.” Ji humorously agreed, “Yes, I’m really good at it.”

Later, the conversation turned to their off-screen relationships, and Daesung asked Ji about their dynamic, given the age difference. “Don’t you guys hang out often off-camera?” he asked. Ji Chang Wook responded, “Woo Jin is super easy to get along with. The age gap never really comes up between us.”

Ha Yoon Kyung then shared a funny story about a company dinner, to which Daesung joked, “Sounds like you do get together for those kinds of gatherings.”

Jo Woo Jin added, “We try, but our schedules are packed, and we often shoot late at night.” Ji revealed, “Still, we’ve had a couple of big dinners together,” before admitting, “I usually cap it at one bottle of soju.”

Ji also shared some amusing and relatable stories about his limited experience with solo drinking. “I tried drinking alone twice,” he said with a smile. “The first time was when I turned 20. I wanted to try it out and drank soju in my living room. I thought it would make me feel like an adult. I went outside, looked at the sky, and thought, Wow, I’m an adult now. Then I came back inside and immediately threw up,” he said, causing everyone to laugh.

His second attempt at solo drinking, however, was more bittersweet. “The second time was during a tough period at work. I drank alone at home, and I ended up crying. That time, it was soju again,” he revealed, bringing a more somber tone to the conversation.
