(G) I-DLE’s Jeon Soyeon recently shed light on her impressive royalty earnings, capturing the audience’s attention.
On the 10th, YouTube channel “Pixid” featured guest Lee Young Ji, engaging in a candid conversation with Jeon Soyeon.
Jeon Soyeon, curious about Lee Young Ji’s latest hit song, asked, “Are you genuinely envious of small girls?” She continued, “Is ‘Small Girl’ based on a true story? Did ‘that guy’ really like small girls?” Lee Young Ji recalled, “It’s a bit ambiguous. I was walking with my boyfriend, and this tiny girl greeted him. They looked cute together with the height difference.”
Lee Young Ji added, “I made money from this song. People seem to love real stories. It’s all based on my experiences.”
Turning the tables, Lee Young Ji asked Soyeon about her income, “How much do you make in a month?” Soyeon pondered, “Should I average it out over a year?”
Lee Young Ji, surprised by the metrics, commented, “People who make a moderate amount don’t usually need to think about it like that.” When asked about her peak earnings, Soyeon revealed, “At my best, I made around 1 billion KRW (approximately $760,000) in a month.”
She added, “But there are times when I only make 100,000 KRW (approximately $76).” Lee Young Ji speculated, “I think you’re earning more than you’re letting on. Based on what I’ve seen, that seems understated.” To which Jeon Soyeon sharply replied, “You made 1 billion KRW, didn’t you?” giving a big laugh.
