BLACKPINK’s Jennie has made her debut as a runway model.
On June 10th, Jennie attended the 15th-anniversary cruise collection show for luxury brand Jacquemus on the Italian island of Capri. She completed the show as the finale model, marking her first official runway appearance. While she has previously worked as a global ambassador and model for luxury brands, sports brands, and fashion accessories, she had never walked the runway before.
Jennie impressed with her runway walk, rivaling professional models. She wore a black backless dress and carried a teal Jacquemus bag as a statement accessory. During the show, she shared a moment with top model Shin Hyunji, exchanging glances and a brief touch as they passed each other on the runway.
Jennie closed the show, finishing her walk with a warm embrace with the brand’s designer, Simon Porte Jacquemus, both smiling at each other.
Jennie has previously shown her fondness for Jacquemus. In 2022, she attended the Jacquemus collection show in Hawaii and has been spotted wearing the brand’s clothes in her daily life and photo shoots.
