G-Dragon is set to be appointed as a special professor at KAIST.

According to an exclusive report by OSEN on June 5th, G-Dragon will receive his appointment at a ceremony held at the Lyu Keun-chul Sports Complex on the KAIST main campus in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon. This will take place following the “Innovate Korea 2024” talk show.

“Innovate Korea 2024” is an event organized by KAIST, the National Research Council of Science & Technology (NST), and Herald Media Group. G-Dragon will join KAIST President Lee Kwang Hyung and Galaxy Corporation’s Chief Happiness Officer Choi Yong Ho for the talk show.

During the event, G-Dragon is expected to discuss the future of K-pop by integrating AI technology with K-content. There is also anticipation that he might share details about his much-awaited comeback and new album slated for later this year.

G-Dragon’s engagement with AI technology began in earnest after he signed with Galaxy Corporation in December last year. He showed his interest in tech advancements by attending CES 2024, the world’s largest electronics and IT exhibition, in Las Vegas this January.
