Sublime Entertainment has responded to reports that Seo Ye Ji is in talks to sign an exclusive contract with the agency.
“It is true that we have met with Seo Ye Ji, but nothing has been decided yet,” a Sublime representative told Maeil Business Newspaper today on May 24th.
Earlier that day, a media outlet reported, citing multiple entertainment sources, that Seo Ye Ji was in talks to sign an exclusive contract with Sublime. Sublime is known for managing top actors such as Song Kang Ho and Ko So Young.
Seo Ye Ji took a hiatus from acting in 2021 after being embroiled in various controversies, including allegations of gaslighting, school violence and lying about her academic backgrounds. She made her comeback to television in 2022 with tvN’s drama Eve.
Her contract with her former agency, Gold Medalist, expired on November 30th of last year. She has recently drawn attention for opening her own social media accounts and interacting with fans.
