BIGBANG’s Daesung has quickly denied dating rumors involving KARA’s Hur Young Ji.
RND Company told MyDaily on June 22nd that they are just “close colleagues.”
The rumors started after a video of Daesung and Hur Young Ji attending a MAMAMOO concert together circulated online. In the clip, the two are seen sitting next to each other, looking at MAMAMOO light sticks and chatting comfortably, sparking online speculation.
Attention also returned to their past connection. Hur Young Ji previously appeared on Daesung’s YouTube show “ZIP Daesung.” At the time, Daesung jokingly mentioned, “Taeyang hyung told me to try dating Hur Young Ji,” adding, “I think we had great chemistry.”
However, the agency quickly shut down the rumors, and it was also clarified that OH MY GIRL’s Hyojung was seated nearby, further confirming the moment was simply a casual gathering between acquaintances.
With the clarification, the dating rumors were put to rest as a misunderstanding.
