Netflix’s reality show, Physical: 100 – Underground has once again proved its mettle.
Physical: 100 is a fiercely competitive reality series searching for the ultimate physique among 100 contestants proud of their top-tier physical conditions. Released on the 19th, episodes 1-4 of Physical: 100 – Underground delivered unexpected matchups with its overwhelming scale, upgraded quests, and intense battles among the strongest physiques, making it impossible to predict the outcome.
This season, the addition of a new arena to the signature “ball-snatching” challenge introduced even more thrilling competitions. Death matches held across obstacle, aquatic, and cage arenas poured out memorable showdowns. The uprising of underdogs overturned everyone’s expectations, delivering exhilarating moments. Kim Dong Hyun, the first Korean to join the UFC and the Korean with the most wins, expressed his admiration for one participant’s incredible win: “The way they won the game was unbelievable. It shows the effort they put in,” he stated, highlighting the sheer determination and skill displayed.
The second quest of Season 2 brought back the nail-biting team battles unique to the series. Unlike Season 1, where team members chose their captains, this time the captains got to pick their team members.
The grand-scale 5 vs. 5 maze conquest battle was a brutal affair, likened to a ferocious battle straight out of hell. Despite the pain and struggle, team members did not give up, fighting tooth and nail for victory. The outcome depended on the captain’s strategy and team members’ ability to assess the situation. The dramatic overturning of expectations, where perceived weaker teams defeated their stronger counterparts, delivered a series of electrifying moments.
Physical: 100 – Underground will release episodes 5-7 globally through Netflix on March 26th.
