Netflix’s Bloodhounds , the global sensation that captivated audiences worldwide, is stirring up excitement with whispers of a potential second season. Following its premiere last year, the series quickly climbed to the top of Netflix’s global charts, showcasing its widespread appeal and captivating storyline.

In light of the series’ remarkable success, Netflix has entered into discussions regarding the continuation of the Bloodhounds saga. “Given the immense love Season 1 received, we are discussing Season 2 in a positive direction,” Netflix shared with TV Report, hinting at the promising possibility of a sequel.

Director Kim Joo Hwan, the visionary behind Bloodhounds, had previously expressed his enthusiasm for a second season in an interview post the series’ release. “If Season 2 is produced, I want to delve into more stories. If we continue to receive such love, we must become ‘bloodhounds’ that go all the way,” he stated, reflecting his commitment to expanding the gripping narrative.

Bloodhounds, unveiled to the world through Netflix in June last year, narrates the perilous journey of two young men entangled in the vast world of loan sharking, battling against malevolent forces at the risk of their lives. The series, starring Woo Do Hwan and Lee Sang Yi, has not only secured the number one spot on FlixPatrol’s global rankings for Netflix TV shows but has also claimed the top position in 22 countries, including Korea, Japan, France, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Brazil, and made it into the top 10 in 88 countries worldwide.
