It reached the number-one spot in several major markets, including Korea, India, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates. Meanwhile, Sold Out on You reached second place globally on April 23rd and holds the fourth position as of April 26th.

The romantic comedy is currently the top show in 12 countries, including Singapore, Taiwan, and several regions across Latin America. This global success is particularly impressive given that the show has only aired two episodes. Domestic ratings in Korea are also trending upward, with the second episode peaking at 4.9% in the Seoul metropolitan area. The story follows a workaholic home shopping host who moves to the countryside to reclaim her career, only to fall for an enigmatic local farmer.

Perfect Crown ranked fourth on FlixPatrol’s Top TV Shows on Disney Plus chart on April 26th.

The show recently hit a massive 11.2% viewership rating in Korea following a romantic climax between leads Byeon Woo Seok and IU. However, the show’s popularity has sparked a debate regarding illegal streaming in China. Professor Seo Kyoung Duk of Sungshin Women’s University recently criticized Chinese netizens for reviewing the show on platforms like Baidu, despite Disney Plus not being available in the country.  He noted, “A search for Perfect Crown on Baidu, China’s largest portal website, easily leads to free viewing sites. It’s baffling that they feel no shame whatsoever.”
