The 33rd Seoul Music Awards took place at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on January 2nd. At this prestigious event, NCT DREAM secured two trophies, including the Grand Prize and the Main Award. The return of Mark and Haechan this year added special significance to the act’s win, especially after missing the ceremony last year due to scheduling and health issues.

SEVENTEEN and NewJeans received the Best Album and Best Song Awards, respectively. ZEROBASEONE and RIIZE took home two trophies, earning the Rookie of the Year and Main Award titles. Despite fulfilling military duties, BTS’ V received recognition as the Fan Choice of the Year.

The selection criteria for Seoul Music Awards winners include judges’ evaluation (50%), digital music and album sales (25%), and mobile voting results (25%).
