Through Starship Entertainment, Hyungwon conveyed, “I’ll complete my military service in good health and be back. I wish all the Monbebe fans stay happy until we reunite.” He continued, “Get ready for some cool stuff from Monsta X when I’m back. I’ll make sure to use my time wisely. When we meet again, you’ll see a more mature me, bonding with the members.”
Before his enlistment, Hyungwon starred in a solo web variety show titled Chae’s Drifting Life (literal translation). It is set to be released on the 17th at 7 PM.
