The Deal is a drama with a thrilling premise where friends kidnap each other. Yoo Seung Ho and Kim Dong Hwi portray two young men who unintentionally kidnap their friend (Yoo Soo Bin), becoming involved in a 10-billion-won ($7.5 million) abduction plan. Lee Joo Young joins the cast as a police trainee chasing the kidnappers. The story unfolds with an accidental kidnapping getting mistaken for the work of professionals, escalating tension. It had its premiere at the 28th Busan International Film Festival in the On Screen section.
Strong Girl Namsoon (10/7)
The spin-off of Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, Strong Girl Namsoon, finally meets the viewers. Strong Girl Namsoon tells the story of the three generations of women with extraordinary strengths as they investigate a newly-forged drug empire thriving in the heart of Gangnam. The original writer, Baek Mi Kyung, pens the script once again, with Park Hyung Sik and Park Bo Young making cameo appearances in the new season. Lee Yoo Mi, Kim Jung Eun and Kim Hae Sook play the three generations of women, while Ong Seong Wu and Byun Woo Seok appear as a detective and a villainous character. Recently, seasonal dramas have been performing well, and there is also a keen interest in the success of this spin-off drama.
A Good Day to Be a Dog (10/11)
Cha Eun Woo is once again ready to leave us spellbound with his stunning “straight-out-of-a-comic-book” visual. Based on the webtoon of the same name, A Good Day to Be a Dog tells a romantic story of a woman cursed to turn into a dog when kissed and a man who can break the curse but is afraid of dogs. Known for his impressive performances in other webtoon-based dramas like Gangnam Beauty, True Beauty, and Island, fans eagerly anticipate the unique charm he will bring to this new project. Park Kyu Young joins Cha Eun Woo as his co-star, and their chemistry is highly anticipated.
Evilive (10/14)
A dark crime drama is on its way this coming fall. Evilive follows the story of a struggling lawyer who attains remarkable success after encountering a despicable man. Shin Ha Kyun, who won the Best Actor award in the TV category at the Baeksang Arts Awards for his role in Beyond Evil, takes on the role of a lawyer undergoing a dramatic transformation into a villainous man, promising another powerful performance. Kim Young Kwang, known for his chilling image transformation in Somebody, plays the ruthless second-in-command of a brutal crime ring, while Shin Jae Ha, who left a mark as a villain in Crash Course in Romance and Taxi Driver 2, appears as Shin Ha Kyun’s stepbrother.

Suzy has become a retired idol singer?! Doona! is an upcoming Netflix series based on a webtoon of the same name and tells the story of an ordinary college student and a retired idol singer living together in a shared house. Suzy, who was mentioned in mock casting before the live-action adaptation announcement, is building anticipation by confirming her role in the cast. The drama is directed by Lee Jung Hyo of Crash Landing on You.
High Cookie (10/23)
Nam Ji Hyun, Jung Da Bin, Choi Hyun Wook and Kim Moo Yeol are teaming up for LG Uplus’ first original series, High Cookie. The upcoming series revolves around a batch of handmade cookies that can make wishes come true with a single bite. However, as these cookies begin causing chaos in an elite high school, the characters confront dangerous situations and dire consequences. The show portrays the struggles of students consumed by their desires, all eager to take a bite of the magical treat. Kim Young Dae and Pyo Ye Jin have become the protagonists of an affectionate reincarnation romance series.
