Weekly TV Top 10: ‘A Time Called You’ Makes a Splash at No. 2

A Time Called You

Drama Ranking for 1st Week of September

Disney Plus’s Moving has climbed back to the top spot. With drama buffs continuing to shower it with love, five cast members—Go Youn Jung, Ryu Seung Ryong, Lee Jeong Ha, Jo In Sung, and Han Hyo Joo—have made it onto the cast ranking. As the show nears its final stretch, the buzz around its season finale and potential second season is reaching a fever pitch. Netflix’s newbie A Time Called You, a remake of the hit Taiwanese drama Someday or One Day, debuted at No. 2. The show has received mixed reviews—some call it a disappointing remake, while others argue it gets better as the story unfolds. A lot of the chatter has been about Ahn Hyo Seop’s styling choices. tvN’s Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramoon made a solid entry at number three. With Lee Joon Gi and Shin Se Kyung stepping in for Song Joong Ki and Kim Ji Won, critics agree that the new additions have seamlessly integrated into the show. JTBC’s Destined With You and Behind Your Touch have also seen a surge in chatter, clinching the 4th and 5th spots, respectively. SBS’s The First Responders 2 ended its run at the sixth spot. Ahead of the finale, rumors were swirling about whether Kim Rae Won would meet the same fate as Son Ho Jun. As it turns out, his “death” was just a ruse for an undercover operation, leading to a happy ending with Gong Seung Yeon. Attention is now shifting to the upcoming series 7 Escape by writer Kim Soon Ok, as fans wonder what sort of provocative plot will unfold. KBS’s The Real Has Come! wrapped up quietly at the tenth spot.
