Netflix series A Time Called You has secured the 8th spot in Netflix’s global TV series rankings, according to Flix Patrol on the 11th.
This show has not only secured the number one spot domestically but has also achieved impressive rankings, coming in second in Indonesia and the Philippines, and third in Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, and Bangladesh.
The Korean adaptation of Taiwan’s beloved drama Someday or One Day stars Ahn Hyo Seop, Jeon Yeo Been, and Kang Hoon. The series narrates the story of Jun Hee, a young woman who mourns the death of her boyfriend. She is inexplicably transported back in time in the body of a high school student. There she meets a student who looks confusingly like the deceased.

Viewers generally expressed satisfaction with the remake, especially praising the performance of lead actress Jeon Yeo Been.

As someone who love and saw the original, I can say that this remake was able to live up to my expectation. There was of course +/- side of the remake just like sood but it is still one of the most beautiful drama i’ve seen.

As for Ahn Hyo Seop, opinions were a mixed bag. Ever since his teaser appearance, he’s been a hot topic among Taiwanese fans, sparking debates about his looks in the series. Some local fans playfully dubbed him “scruffy” or even jokingly referred to him as a “beggar” due to his somewhat unkempt looks. Surprisingly, overseas fans found even this rugged appearance quite appealing and stylish.
