The Worst of Evil is a crime action drama that revolves around police officer Joon Mo. The narrative follows his undercover operation to dismantle a major drug ring operating in Gangnam, a hub for drug trade between Korea, China, and Japan during the 1990s.
The fresh teaser poster engages the audience with its nostalgic 1990s Gangnam visuals. The main characters of the series, Gi Chul (played by Wi Ha Jun), the head of the drug ring, and Jun Mo (portrayed by Ji Chang Wook), the detective, confidently stroll the streets, radiating charisma and energy.
Ji Chang Wook takes on the role of Park Joon Mo, a police officer who infiltrates a drug syndicate in Gangnam. The actor previously shared his feelings after completing filming, expressing, “I am thoroughly happy with how we filmed the series, as I put my best effort during the shoot. I enjoyed the filming process so much.”
Wi Ha Jun takes on the character of Gi Chul, the leader of the drug syndicate. He’s anticipated to display a range of qualities, from his bold determination to achieve success at any cost, to his loyal and compassionate approach towards his people in the organization.
The Worst of Evil will premiere on September 27th.
