Gong Myung is likely to resume his acting career with the new drama Plaza Wars following his military service.
According to reports on the 4th, Gong Myung recently joined the production of The Plaza and is currently coordinating the details. In response, Saram Entertainment confirmed to Newsen, “He received an offer for the new drama Plaza Wars and is considering it positively.” Gong Myung completed his military service last month.
Plaza Wars is a drama based on the popular webtoon of the same name. It narrates the story of two organizations that survived a power struggle in Seoul taking place in front of the Yeouido National Assembly Plaza. The protagonist delves into the mystery surrounding the sudden death of his younger brother, who became a capo of an organization.
When the webtoon was released, it received praise for its dynamic illustrations and rapid development, so the news of the drama production has garnered much anticipation from fans. So Ji Sub was the first to announce his appearance in the drama.
Meanwhile, Plaza Wars is set to wrap up all castings in the second half of this year and begin full-scale filming.
