Fans are absolutely swooning over the exciting revelation that Song Joong Ki’s wife, Katy Louise Saunders, secretly visited the set of the hit series Reborn Rich while they were dating.

During the June 21st episode of MBC’s Radio Star, Kim Young Jae spilled the beans on his special bond with none other than Song Joong Ki, whom he collaborated with on the drama series, Reborn Rich.

In the series, Kim Young Jae portrayed Jin Yoon Ki, the father of Jin Do Jun (played by Song Joong Ki). Clarifying any misconceptions about their age difference, Kim Young Jae casually mentioned, “In the real world, we’re only 10 years apart.”

The actor said, “When I was first offered the role of Song Joong Ki’s dad, I wasn’t sure if it would work because the age gap didn’t seem that noticeable. But you know what? My wife actually used to watch this show he was in, The Innocent Man, while she was pregnant. Thinking about my little boy, it just clicked in my mind, ‘Hey, I’m Joong Ki’s dad!’ So, without any doubts, I gladly accepted the role and embraced it with open arms.”

He also revealed, “You know, even though he didn’t have to be there for the drama’s table read, he wrapped up his international schedule and showed up to say hi. It was really heartwarming.”

Kim Young Jae also opened up about the backstory of their dinner gathering with the drama team. He said, “The dating rumors broke out on the same day we all sat down for dinner. So, I got to hear all about his love story and found out that Katy actually visited the set before the rumors even started circulating online. Back then, I never would’ve guessed she was his girlfriend. I just thought she was one of the staff members.”
