Song Joong Ki departed for Hungary on the afternoon of the 16th to shoot his new Netflix movie My Name is Loh Kiwan. And spotted next to him was his wife Katy Louise Saunders holding their pet dog.
The couple greeted the reporters and their fans with bright smiles, though their face was covered with a mask. Just like the first time they were seen at the airport together, Song Joong Ki escorted his wife who is now pregnant with his child.
My Name is Loh Kiwan depicts the encounter, breakup, and love of Kiwan, a North Korean defector who arrives in Belgium, and Mari, a woman who lost all reasons for living. Song Joong Ki and Chi Sung Eun will be leading the film.
Meanwhile, Song Joong Ki announced his marriage to Saunders via a letter he posted on his fan cafe. “I have promised to spend the rest of my life with Katy Louise Saunders, who has been encouraging me and spending time with me. She has a kind heart, and she has led a passionate life,” he wrote. “We’ve put in a lot of effort to keep our promises to each other, and gratefully, we have welcomed a precious life between the two of us.”
