Jo Jung Suk is reportedly returning to the small screen with the new historical romance series.
Today, TV Daily reported that Jo Jung Suk is positively reviewing his appearance in Spy (literal title), the new historical romance series directed by The Crowned Clown writer Kim Suk Deok.
Spy depicts the cruel love story of King Yi In, who’s on the verge of entering a brutal political struggle, and spy Kang Hee Soo, who was sent to seduce the king but ended up falling in love with him.
If Jo Jung Suk does join the show, he’ll be stepping into the role of King Yi In, who’s stained with stigma. According to OSEN, starring opposite him as Kang Hee Seo is Shin Se Kyung.
Meanwhile, Jo Jung Suk is also getting ready for the release and filming of the movies The Land of Happiness and Pilot (both literal titles).
