tvN’s new Saturday-Sunday drama Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow released its new stills of Go Youn Jung on November 15th.
Alchemy of Souls is a fantasy romance drama set in a fictional country called Dae Ho Guk. It follows two protagonists whose fate has been switched due to soul-changing magic.
Set three years after Part 1, the second act will tell the story of Jang Wook (played by Lee Jae Wook), who came back alive and new sorcerers who will be introduced in the upcoming season.
The new pictures give a first look at Go Youn Jung as a mysterious woman with Naksu’s face from the upcoming series. Previously, Naksu the merciless assassin got trapped in the body of a frail young woman named Mu Deok. She soon grew her feelings for Jang Wook, her master who later became her pupil, and they became lovers promising their marriage. However, their happiness didn’t last long as she threw herself into the lake after falling under the spell of Jin Moo (Jo Jae Yoon).
