Bae Yong Joon‘s official website has been put up for sale.
As of today, no trace of the actor can be found on his official website. The only thing the website shows is a notice that says “buy this domain.”
However, the actor’s recent status was revealed by one of his acquaintances. The contact shared, “Bae Yong Joon is not selling the homepage, but the message might have appeared as the domain has not been updated for a long time. He’s not interested in external activities as an entertainer.”
The actor has been taking a long hiatus since his 2007 drama The Legend and has made a few special appearances in projects like the 2011 drama Dream High.
Another acquaintance of Bae told OSEN that the star is satisfied with his quiet life with his family in Hawaii and that he had already made a clear withdrawal from the Korean entertainment industry when he handed over the shares he owned to SM in 2018.
Bae Yong Joon sold all his Keyeast shares to SM Entertainment in 2018. Back then, he received new stocks worth $26.5 million from SM Entertainment and received $11.3 million in cash.

The star tied the knot with Park Soo Jin in 2015 and became the father of a son and a daughter. The family is currently living in Hawaii. Although Bae Yong Joon doesn’t have a management agency, Park Soo Jin is still under Keyeast Entertainment.
Keyeast Entertainment shared, “It’s difficult to announce any details regarding Park Soo Jin’s future plans, ” according to Startoday’s report on November 14th.
