Kim Soo Hyun is currently in talks to star in Queen of Tears (literal title), a new drama written by Park Ji Eun of My Love from the Star.
On November 4th, the actor’s agency Gold Medalist officially stated, “Kim Soo Hyun is reviewing the offer to star in a new drama titled Queen of Tears.”
Back in April, the agency denied reports of his casting in the show by saying, “We have received schedule inquiries only, not an official offer or a script from the drama team.”
Queen of Tears is a new work penned by writer Park Ji Eun of My Love from the Star, The Producer and Crash Landing on You. As the series will be helmed by Vincenzo and Little Women producer Kim Hee Won, the show is garnering much attention for their latest collaboration.
Kim Soo Hyun previously led My Love from the Star and The Producer. Expectations are high on whether or not Queen of Tears will mark his third successful reunion with writer Park Ji Eun.
