Netflix confirmed the release date for its new variety show Korea No.1 and dropped its main poster and a teaser trailer.

The show is about Yoo Jae SukLee Kwang Soo and Kim Yeon Koung traveling all over Korea to learn from the best traditional masters in a bid to become the No. 1 Apprentice. Producer Jung Hyo Min behind Hyori’s Homestay and Witch Hunt helms the series. The newly released poster features the three stars with various colorful illustrations of traditional Korean cultures, such as color dyeing, anchovy fishing using bamboo nets, and making giwa tiles.

The trailer features the passion and struggles of the cast members in search of top artisans in South Korea. Expectations are high on how they would learn and experience the techniques from top masters who have continued to preserve national traditions, such as making various side dishes using Korean soy sauce and building giwa tiles for the roof of cultural assets.

The clip also had the cast’s non-stop chatting and unexpected slapstick comedy. Like what Kim Yeon Koung said, “Becoming Korea’s No.1 isn’t easy,” the three stars will put their hearts and souls into becoming the No. 1 apprentice.

Korea No.1 will premiere on November 25th.
