Host Yoo Jae Suk, actor Lee Kwang Soo, and volleyball player Kim Yeon Koung will come together for Netflix’s Korea No. 1.

On Wednesday, Netflix announced, “Yoo Jae Suk, Lee Kwang Soo, and Kim Yeon Koung will star in the new Netflix show Korea No. 1.” Along with the news, Netflix released still photos capturing the cheery chemistry of the cast. Dressed in blue jumpsuits, they’re smiling brightly in the field.

Korea No. 1 is a show where the cast members visit Korea’s No. 1 artisans and experience the traditional methods they use. Traveling all over the country, they will fill the screen with charms of labor and tradition. More than anything, the chemistry of Yoo Jae Suk, Lee Kwang Soo, and Kim Yeon Koung is highly expected. In particular, this is Kim Yeon Koung’s first time joining a variety show as a regular member.

“We’ll present viewers a big laugh with the cast’s non-stop chatting and the playful slapsticks,” an official shared. “In particular, Kim Yeon Koung and Lee Kwang Soo’s bickering sibling-like chemistry and Yoo Jae Suk encouraging them on will be a thing to look for.”

Meanwhile, Korea No. 1 comes from director Jung Hyo Min, whose credits include Hyori’s Homestay and Witch Hunt. Moreover, this is director Jung’s third time working with Yoo Jae Suk, following Two Yoo Project Sugar Man and Laborhood on Hire.
