Joo Won will be starring in new tvN drama Stealer: Seven Joseon Notices.

Stealer: Seven Joseon Notices is a detective action series that follows cultural asset thief  Skunk and an unofficial cultural asset recovery team Karma as they collaborate to fight against those who cannot be judged by the law. Through this upcoming drama, the actor will be making his long-awaited return.

Joo Won will play Hwang Dae Myung, a civil servant of the Special Investigation Division of the Cultural Heritage Administration. He is a rather eccentric man who cares a lot about the amount of annual leave he has and often slacks off at work. However, his life becomes even more eccentric as he becomes suspected of having connections with Skunk.

Joo Won shared, “The drama is based on a fictional story with deep meaning. I loved how the story unfolded and how light-heartedly the themes were explored. I was and am excited to play the role in the series, and please stay tuned for the new series as I will put my best effort into rendering the role.”

The production team shared, “Trustworthy actor Joo Won has met the unique character Hwang Dae Myung. Please stay tuned to watch the synergy between the actor and the character within the uniquely suspenseful story about cultural asset crime in Korea.”

Stealer: Seven Joseon Notices will premiere sometime next year.
