Do Kyung Soo, aka EXO’s D.O, is playing the craziest character in his career.
KBS’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama Bad Prosecutor tells the story of a prosecutor armed with courage and bravado who brings justice for the weak and poor while destroying all corruption within the government and prosecution. The show comes from Netflix’s Move to Heaven helmer Kim Sung Ho and Sketch writer Im Young Bin.
With his handsome looks and charms, Prosecutor Jin Jung, played by Do Kyung Soo, can allure any woman he wants, but at the same time, he’s a madman at work, considered the “invasive species” or “rebel.” He chooses expediency over the law, trickery over the rule, and misconduct over sincerity to eradicate corruption. Avenging evil by tenfold, he’ll present catharsis to viewers.
The special poster released on Thursday captures Do Kyung Soo’s “mad eyes.” On top of that, the phrase, “A prosecutor who shines at the scene is coming!” briefly introduces the prosecutor who’ll willingly walk into the field for his investigation.
“Jin Jung is a weirdo prosecutor who fights for justice,” Do Kyung Soo shared. “I had so much fun reading the script and the story was exhilarating. I thought that Jin Jung, a character I’ve never tried before, was full of charms, so I decided to join the show.”
Meanwhile, Bad Prosecutor will premiere on October 5th at 9:50 PM KST.
