Disney Plus’ ‘Casino’ Confirms November Release With an Intriguing Teaser Trailer

Disney Plus confirmed the November release of Casino and unveiled an intriguing teaser trailer.

The drama tells the story of a man, once dubbed the king of the casino, who lost everything he had in an unfortunate chain of events. The man returns to the gambling scene, this time betting his life. The show stars Choi Min Sik, Son Suk Ku, Lee Dong Hwi, and Heo Sung Tae and is helmed by The Outlaws director Kang Yoon Sung.

The trailer begins as Cha Mu Sik (played by Choi Min Sik) enters the Philippines with a police escort. A voice in the background says, “Because he knows everyone from everywhere,” implying his influence over the country and mob network. The scene then switches to young Cha Mu Sik, played by Lee Kyu Hyung, showing how he has been out of the ordinary since he was young.

Choi Mu Sik was previously an English academy teacher in South Korea, but became extremely successful in the Philippines as shown in the line where he says, “We made 70 billion won in 10 years and got along with all the big names in the Philippines.”

Toward the end of the teaser, a police officer named Oh Seung Hoon (Son Suk Ku) appears and says, “Welcome to the Philippines,” hinting at�the story waiting to be unraveled.

Casino will premiere in November.
