Kang Daniel, BoA, Eunhyuk, and Jang Wooyoung posed for the 1st Look pictorial.

In the interview conducted afterward, the four artists talked about being a part of Street Man Fighter (SMF). Kang Daniel, who’ll host the show following Street Woman Fighter, shared, “Many of the dancers participating in the show are either very close or are acquainted with me, so I thought that maybe they could feel more at ease. So I tried to prepare a way to add a little more tension to the set.”

BoA is also returning as a judge. “With Eunhyuk and Wooyoung newly joining the show, the judge lineup has changed, so there will be fun coming from that change,” she said. “The three of us really hit it off. Eunhyuk and I are the same age, and we often meet at the company (SM Entertainment), so I’m comfortable around him. As for Wooyoung, I met him for the first time for SMF, but he’s such a pleasant person to be with.”

The two new judges have also shared their thoughts. “I got lucky! (was my first thought),” Eunhyun commented. “I love watching performances, and I’ll get to watch the dancers’ performances that you usually have to pay for for free. This is crazy. I just think that it was pure luck that I got to join SMF, so I’m doing my best, thinking that I’ll enjoy the shows and learn as much as I can.”

Wooyoung said, “When I first got the offer, I thought, ‘Is it really okay for me to become the judge?'” The idol added, “When I first watched SWF, I thought it was a pity that I wasn’t at the scene. I was just jealous of everyone there. So I thought that if the opportunity came to me, I’d take it no matter what. And my dream came true.”

Meanwhile, Mnet’s new show Street Man Fighter will premiere on the 23rd.
