Choi Woo Sik and Son Seok Koo will star in a Netflix drama titled Murderous Toy.
On the 25th, an insider from the entertainment industry said: “Choi Woo Sik and Son Seok Koo will lead in a new Netflix drama series called Murderous Toy.”
The comedy-thriller drama tells the story of a detective chasing after a man who becomes a murderer by accident. It is based on a popular Naver webtoon of the same name, written by Komabi Nomabi.
Choi Woo Sik will play Lee Tang, a young man who accidentally becomes a murderer. However, the ones he killed turned out to have committed unethical and evil acts before, and Lee Tang becomes a heroic figure without his intention to become one.
Meanwhile, Son Seok Koo will take on the role of a detective who doesn’t make a single mistake in his given task. The story is expected to pan out as Son Seok Koo chases after Tang suspecting him of murder.
The drama will be produced by Lee Chang Hee, the director of Hell is Other People and The Vanished. It will start filming in the second half of this year.
