Jo Bo Ah shared her thoughts on Military Prosecutor Doberman during her interview with News N.

Military Prosecutor Doberman revolves around Do Bae Man (Ahn Bo Hyun), who became a military prosecutor for money, and Cha Woo In (Jo Bo Ah), who became a military prosecutor for revenge. Fighting against the corruption within the military, they grow to be the real prosecutors who value justice and compassion.

Jo Bo Ah shared, “The script that I first got spoke a lot about many ongoing social issues. With the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, I could see that the work is written in hopes of cheering up the exhausted people in the aftermath of the COVID-19 crisis by selecting a cartoonish format to bring out the character’s adventurous spirits. At the filming site, the director has led us to portray bubbly, cheerful, yet sometimes serious characters with his unique direction.”

Jo Bo Ah defined Cha Woo In as a ‘‘figure who she looks up to”. “I tried to make the most out of the easy-going side of me to create the character. It isn’t too much to say that I have become more like Cha Woo In through this work,” Jo noted. Cha Woo In is an expert training Do Bae Man through the carrot-and-stick strategy. When asked about what it was like to take such an approach to Ahn Bo Hyun, Jo Bo Ah answered, “It was thrilling.”

Jo explained, “As you know, Ahn Bo Hyun is tall and built strong. So, I was fascinated by the idea of having control over such a big guy like him. Though it’s not conventional for a tiny woman to have control over a huge guy, Ahn Bo Hyun has turned us two into a wonderful pair.”

Jo Bo continued to sing the praises of Ahn Bo Hyun by saying, “I have worked with many actors who have a richer experience than mineAhn Bo Hyun around since he and I were in the same age group. It felt like two friends working together. I enjoyed working with him.”

In the final episode, the curtain comes down with a romantic, happy ending for Cha Woo In and Do Bae Man after convicting No Hwa Young (Oh Yeon Soo). When asked whether she was disappointed with the small portion of their romance in the show, Jo answered, “There was a lot to show in the Military Prosecutor Doberman. It also contained a lot of serious social issues, and many things happened in the military court. As there were many things to show, I thought that romance could easily interfere with the show’s main plot. Therefore, we took a careful approach to romance in the show. However, as we knew that romance plays a crucial part in the show’s popularity, we added some of those heart-fluttering scenes as we were filming the series.”
