Lee Jun Young is in talks to make his return to the small screen with MBC’s One Hundred Won Butler (literal title).

According to Sports Seoul, Lee Jun Young was recently cast to play the male lead in One Hundred Won Butler. To which the actor’s agency Jflex responded, “He was offered the role and is positively reviewing it.”

One Hundred Won Butler tells the story of a man who runs errands that cost 10 cents per case and a funeral director who grants the wishes of the dead. Together, they run an errand company called “Ildangbaek.”

If Lee Jun Young joins the show, he’ll play Butler Kim, the only employee of the errand company Ildangbaek. Butler Kim is not only intelligent but also capable of winning the trust of his clients quite easily. He draws a “win-win” romance with mysterious Baek Dong Ju, who he first thought to be just someone weird.

Earlier, it was reported that Yoon Doo Joon and Hyeri were offered to lead the series. But with the changes made to the programming schedule, Yoon Doo Joon had to drop out.

Meanwhile, One Hundred Won Butler will premiere in the second half of 2022.
