Woori the Virgin dropped the first captivating thriller.
SBS’s new Monday-Tuesday series Woori the Virgin is the new sweet yet dynamic romance series. The story begins when Oh Woo RI (Im Soo Hyang), a girl who is saving herself up for marriage, gets unexpectedly pregnant with Raphael’s (Sung Hoon) child. It’s the Korean remake of the hit American series Jane the Virgin.

The released teaser starts by showing Oh Woo Ri receiving a bouquet at her friend’s wedding. Her mother and grandmother look thrilled, but Woo Ri’s expression isn’t so delightful after all. Soon, Woo Ri’s life as an assistant writer for a makjang drama writer is shown. She tried to live an independent life, saying, “I’m a writer! I don’t want to lose the center of my life,” but the reality is harsh.
However, when Woo Ri’s boyfriend Lee Kang Jae (Shin Dong Wook) appears, the mood changes. They spend time just like any other couple and go on dates, but Oh Woo Ri introduces tension between the two, saying, “So why can’t I set up my mind to marry Kang Jae?”
On the other hand, Lee Kang Jae proposes to Woo Ri in front of a church, but the answer he got was, “Kang Jae, I’m pregnant.” The father of the child, Raphael, was soon spotted having a blast in a club, raising expectations.
Meanwhile, Woori the Virgin will premiere on May 9th at 10 PM KST.
