TWICE became the first foreign artist to top the Japanese Oricon Chart for the eighth time.

TWICE’s fourth-best album #TWICE4 was released in Japan on March 16th. #TWICE4 soon recorded 66,000 sales points on its first week of release and climbed to the top of the Oricon daily album chart as of the 22nd.

This is the eighth time the girl act has achieved such a feat as a foreign female girl group since their third-best album #TWICE3 has topped the chart in September 2020.

In the previous week, TWICE’s #TWICE4 had recorded 45,542 points on the chart on March 15th, allowing the group to dominate the chart and prove its immensely growing popularity.

The new album #TWICE4 includes the Japanese and Korean version of their global hits like “I CAN’T STOP ME,” “CRY FOR ME,” “Alcohol-Free,” and “SCIENTIST.”
