PLEDIS Entertainment announced the expiration of NU’EST members’ contracts.
On February 28th, the label announced that the members’ exclusive contracts with the agency will expire on the 14th of next month. JR, Aron, and Ren will be leaving the firm, but Baekho and Minhyun decided to stay.
PLEDIS Entertainment stressed, “NU’EST is a meaningful group that holds a special place in our company as the first boy group of our agency. Since their debut, the group has been loved by many for their unique music, performances and the way they created their dramatic narrative with a fresh approach. We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to JR, Aron, Baekho, Minhyun, and Ren for always putting their best foot forward over the last ten years.”
They also noted that the group will cap off their official activities with their album that will be released in March. They closed off their statement by saying, “We would like to express our gratitude to L.O.Λ.E who have always stayed by NU’EST’s side. We ask you to give your unchanging love and support to the members as they embark on new journeys in their careers.”
