In the second episode of JTBC’s Forecasting Love and Weather, Jin Ha Kyung (Park Min Young) and Han Ki Joon (Yoon Park) put an end to their 10-year office romance.
Han Ki Joon starts an affair with Chae Yoo Jin (Yura) despite his wedding ahead. As a result, Ha Kyung goes through a painful breakup with her groom-to-be, only to see him marry Yoo Jin.
Feeling uncomfortable working with Ki Joon, she plans a one-way trip to Switzerland. However, she soon changes her mind due to his infuriating remarks. She tells him that she will give back everything she got from him, and the couple’s 10-year relationship ends in front of everyone at the weather station.
Liberated from the toxic relationship, Ha Kyung offers to buy a drink to Lee Si Woo (Song Kang), who has been assigned to her office for about two weeks. She feels a sense of kinship with him as he is the ex-lover of Chae Yoo Jin, who is now the wife of Han Ki Joon. Therefore, they quickly grow close with each other and end up spending a night together.
As Ha Kyung is determined not to start another workplace romance, she exchanges a handshake with Si Woo, saying, “Let’s be cool and act as if nothing has happened, like two grown-ups!” However, their relationship does not end there. Li Si Woo has been transferred to Ha Kyung’s office, and now the two must come across each other every day.
