Im Si Wan and Seolhyun are in talks to take the lead roles in the new drama Summer Strike (working title).

On Monday, Sports Chosun reported that Im Si Wan and Seolhyun have officially joined the cast of Summer Strike. To which both actors’ agencies replied, “They received an offer, but nothing has been decided yet.”

Summer Strike is a show based on the popular webtoon “I Don’t Want to Do Anything.” The story revolves around a woman who declared a break from her life at the age of 28. The drama will draw the sympathy of modern people by portraying how she finds herself and feels lots of unexpected things in a village where she went to do nothing.

If Im Si Wan and Seolhyun officially join the production, they will play Ahn Dae Bum and Lee Yeo Reum, respectively. Ahn Dae Bum was a math prodigy who competed against prestigious college students 20 years ago. After a terrible misfortune, he managed to enter Seoul National University. But now, he works as a temporary librarian at Angok Library. Lee Yeo Reum, on the other hand, worked in a small company for five years after graduating college. She became a full-time employee just three months ago, but she dropped everything and left for a small seaside town called Angok. Now, she lives in an empty billiard room.

Meanwhile, Summer Strike comes from Coffee Prince and Cheese in the Trap director Lee Yoon Jung.
