Wi Ha Joon in Talks to Join New Drama ‘Little Women’ that Kim Go Eun and Nam Ji Hyun Are Also Considering

Wi Ha Joon, who recently made quite a splash in Netflix’s Squid Game, is in talks to join the new TV series Little Women (literal title).

On the 19th, Sports Chosun reported that Wi Ha Joon was cast to take the lead in the new drama Little Women. To which, the actor’s agency MSTeam Entertainment responded that Wi Ha Joon is reviewing the offer.

Little Women is a work that tells the story of three sisters who are good friends with each other. It’ll be a female epic series led by the sisters.

Last month, it was reported that Kim Go Eun and Nam Ji Hyun are in talks to join the project as sisters. If Wi Ha Joon also hops on the production, he will be taking on the male lead.

The Crowned Clown and Vincenzo director Kim Hee Won was tabbed as the director for Little Women. Joining him in the crew is Thirst and The Handmaiden writer Jung Seo Jung. Produced by Studio Dragon, the filming will begin later this year after completing the full cast.

Meanwhile, Wi Ha Joon debuted in 2015 in the movie Coin Locker Girl. Since then, the actor appeared in various projects, including movies Miss & Mrs. Cops and Midnight and dramas 18 Again and Romance Is a Bonus Book. In particular, he gained global popularity for his role in Netflix’s mega-hit series Squid Game. Moreover, Wi Ha Joon had also joined the cast for tvN’s Bad and Crazy alongside Lee Dong Wook and Han Ji Eun.
