Lee Dong Wook, Wi Ha Joon and Han JI Eun have officially joined the cast of ‘Bad and Crazy’.
The new tvN Friday-Saturday series Bad and Crazy is a new hero drama. The story begins as a bright yet despicable man meets a righteous weirdo, K.
It’s a new project by The Uncanny Counter team. When the production of season 2 became unclear, the team joined hands to create this new series. With Bad and Crazy, they will draw “the birth of an unprecedented hero that we need the most in this era.” Lee Dong Wook, Wi Ha Joon, and Han Ji Eun will take the lead.
Lee Dong Wook plays Soo Yeol, a smart man with a bit of sly nature. He’s the kind of a detective who can throw away his honor and dignity if what’s returned is a success. As a materialistic detective, he can easily change his attitude depending on the situation. But when K shows up in front of him, a break is put on his fast track to the top.
Wi Ha Joon takes on the role of K, a righteous weirdo. With a strong belief in justice, K is the kind of person who throws his punch when faced with injustice. He dreams of becoming “the last hero” of this era. Han Ji Eun turns into Hee Gyeom, a narcotics officer and Soo Yeol’s ex-girlfriend. To fully experience the thrill of putting criminals behind bars, she applied to work in narcotics.
The production team shared, “We plan to provide viewers with the crazy fun and pleasure that can only be found in ‘Bad and Crazy’, along with the delightful and exciting synergy created by the three actors. Please look forward to it.”
Meanwhile, Bad and Crazy is iQIYI’s second Korean original series following My Roommate Is a Gumiho.
