Global fans’ interest in Jung Ho Yeon continues to be on the rise.
Jung Ho Yeon is a model-turned-actress who played Kang Sae Byeok in Netflix’s mega-hit series Squid Game. On the 3rd, the number of her Instagram followers surpassed 12 million, beating out Song Hye Kyo. As a result, she became the 2md most-followed Korean actress on the platform.
Before the release of Squid Game, Jung Ho Yeon only had 400,000 followers on Instagram. But the number spiked to 12 million – this is a 30-fold increase – in just two weeks.
Currently, Lee Sung Kyung is the Korean actress with the most Instagram followers (12.95 million).
Jung Ho Yeon, who left a strong impression with her role in Squid Game, is considered the actor who received the most benefit from the drama’s success. She pulled off everything from fierce mind games to physical combat in the series, revealing as much presence as Lee Jung Jae and Park Hae Soo.
