The French film Vanishing will land at BIFF (Busan International Film Festival).

Vanishing will meet the audience for the first time at the 26th BIFF. Vanishing, directed by The Page Turner director Denis Dercourt, delves into the case of a woman found dead in Korea.

The movie has made headlines since the casting process. Yoo Yeon Seok plays Korean detective Jin Ho. The actor, who had drawn attention with his colorful performances in every project, will turn into a cold and intelligent detective.

Moreover, Quantum of Solace actress Olga Kurylenko will star opposite him as world-renowned French forensic scientist Alice. The actress stayed in Korea for a couple of months for the movie, and just like how Alice is fascinated by the country, Kurylenko is also said to have fallen in love with Korea. In addition, Ye Ji Won appears as interpreter Im Sook and adds energy to the play.

The delicate portrayal of a Korean detective and a French forensic scientist, who joined hands to solve a murder case, falling for each other and the suspense of gradually unraveling the case will create an exciting harmony, making it impossible for the viewers to take their eyes off.

After having a world premiere at BIFF, Vanishing plans to start preparing for release around the world. In Korea, the movie will be released next year.
