Jung Kyung Ho and Girls’ Generation’s Choi Sooyoung have reportedly ended their relationship after 14 years together.
MyDaily reported on June 9th that the couple recently grew apart due to their busy schedules, which eventually led to the end of their long-term relationship.
A source close to the pair said, “Jung Kyung Ho has been continuously busy with acting projects, while Choi Sooyoung has been active in both Korea and Japan. They were meeting less often because of their schedules, and they ultimately decided to end the relationship.”
Jung Kyung Ho and Choi Sooyoung were one of the entertainment industry’s longest-running public couples. They met through mutual connections, including church, and reportedly began dating in 2012 while also being alumni of Chung-Ang University’s Theater and Film Department.
Earlier, rumors circulated online that Jung Kyung Ho and Choi Sooyoung had unfollowed each other on social media, sparking breakup speculation. The rumors were later confirmed.
Choi Sooyoung’s agency, Saram Entertainment, confirmed the news, stating, “It is true that they have broken up.”
Jung Kyung Ho’s representative also told Sports TV News on June 9th, “Jung Kyung Ho and Choi Sooyoung recently broke up. They naturally drifted apart and decided to end their relationship,” briefly confirming the news.
After 14 years together, the two are now focusing on their individual careers.
