Netflix has officially greenlit Paper Man (working title), a new crime drama starring Cho Jung Suk, Park Hae Soo and Claudia Kim.

The series follows Cha Myung Jo, an overlooked family man whose life is turned upside down after he creates a counterfeit bill so flawless that no one can tell it’s fake. As he’s pulled deeper into a dangerous underworld, the drama explores the blurred line between what’s real and what’s fake.

Paper Man will be directed by Lee Il Hyung, the filmmaker behind Netflix’s Karma and the films A Violent Prosecutor and Remember.

Cho Jung Suk stars as Cha Myung Jo, the unlikely mastermind at the center of the story. Fresh off projects including My Daughter Is a Zombie, Pilot and Hospital Playlist, the actor is set to lead the series as an ordinary man drawn into an extraordinary criminal world.

Park Hae Soo plays Oh Seung Eop, a relentless anti-counterfeiting expert determined to track down the source of the perfect fake bills. The Squid Game, Narco-Saints and Karma star is expected to bring his trademark intensity to the role.

Claudia Kim takes on the role of Go Hye Seok, Myung Jo’s successful wife and an elite judge whose seemingly perfect life begins to crack under mounting pressure. The actress is known for projects including Gyeongseong Creature and Avengers: Age of Ultron.

With a powerhouse cast and a fresh spin on the crime genre, Paper Man is set to stream exclusively on Netflix.
