Gentlemen is a stylish action crime movie that revolves around a detective who gets caught up in a huge case while struggling to vindicate himself. It’s the first-ever original film of OTT platform Wavve.

Ju Ji Hoon plays private detective Ji Hyun Soo. When he becomes a prime suspect of a murder case, he has to find the victim in a week in order to clear his name.

On the opposite side of him is Kwon Do Hoon, played by Park Sung Woong. As a former prosecutor, he now runs a law firm. Equipped with intelligence and power, he will be the most despicable villain ever in film history. The fierce confrontations between the two will add tension to the play.

Rookie actress Choi Sung Eun, who became a rising star through the movie Start-Up, also joined the movie as elite prosecutor Kim Hwa Jin. Working with Ji Hyun Soo, she will search for the victim of the case.

The Artist: Reborn director Kim Kyung Won helms the production.

After conducting a successful table read, the movie began its production on the 20th.

Ju shared, “I’m glad to work with director Kim Kyung Won, Park Sung Woong, and Choi Sung Eun. I look forward to spending a few months as Ji Hyun Soo, and please stay tuned for the new movie.”

Park added, “I read the script really fast. So, I can guarantee that it will be a great movie, and I will do my best to deliver the fun in the movie.” Choi then said, “I’m thrilled to be a part of Gentlemen. I’m sure I’ll learn a lot, so I’m really excited, and I’m ready to put all my effort in.”

Director Kim shared, “It’s an honor to work with actors that I’ve always admired. I will do my best to fully bring out the fun in the genre.”

Gentlemen will be out in the theaters and on Wavve next year after 4 months of production.
