A new reality show We’re Family (literal title) will be launched.
According to Daily Sports, Super Junior’s Yesung, AB6IX’s Lee Daehwi, IZ* ONE’s Kang Hyewon, and I.O.I’s Lim Nayoung have joined We’re Family. We’re Family is a new reality show co-produced by MBC and Discovery Channel. The show will tell the story of K-pop artists who will become one happy family.
Previously, Wonder Girls’ Yubin, g.o.d’s Son Hoyoung, BTOB’s Seo Eun Kwang, WayV’s XiaoJun, YangYang, Hendery, and THE BOYZ’s Hyunjae joined the show. And today, Yesung, Lee Daehwi. Kang Hyewon, and Lim Nayoung have newly hopped on the project.
From the 1st to 4th-generation, K-pop artists from various timelines will come under the same roof. Thus, attention is focused on what kind of chemistry they will show altogether.
Last month, reports indicated that We Got Married may return with its 4th season. However, MBC denied the report, saying, “It’s true that we were in talks to reboot ‘We Got Married Returns.’ However, we decided not to produce it.” According to SPOTVNEWS, We’re Family �will be produced in a completely different format from We Got Married.
