IZ*ONE’s Choi Yena is gearing up for her solo debut.
On Tuesday, Yuehua Entertainment confirmed the previous report about Choi Yena’s solo debut. “Choi Yena is working on an album for her solo debut in the second half of this year,” they shared. However, they stated that the specific schedule is still under discussion.
With this, Choi Yena became the second member of IZ*ONE to make an official solo debut, following Kwon Eunbi. Kwon Eunbi will drop her first solo album on August 24th.
Meanwhile, Choi Yena debuted as a member of project group IZ*ONE in 2018. Since then, the artist has shown off her charms in various fields, including K-pop and variety shows. She became a regular member of shows like Prison Life of Fools, Girls High School Investigation Class, and Fireworks Handsome.
An official from Yuehua shared, “She’s preparing for her album to show the new side of Choi Yena as a singer. She is an artist with lots of potentials, so please look forward to it.”
