Hospital Playlist 2 has set the highest premiere ratings in the tvN’s history.

According to Nielsen Korea, Hospital Playlist 2’s first episode, which aired on June 17th, scored the average nationwide ratings of 10.0 percent. It is higher than any other premiere ratings among all tvN series. It’s also 3.7 percent higher than the premiere ratings of the first season, which was 6.3 percent. tvN’s My Roommate Is a Gumiho and JTBC’s Monthly Magazine Home, which aired on the same day, scored ratings of 4.2 and 2.3 percent, respectively.

What viewers were interested in the most was the romance between characters. The winter couple Ahn Jung Won and Jang Gyeo Wool started a secret relationship. The show also foreshadowed the love triangle between Yang Suk Hyung, Chu Min Ha, and Yoon Shin Hye. Chae Song Hwa rejected Lee Ik Jun’s confession, and they agreed to remain friends, making viewers curious about what will happen next.

Hospital Playlist 2 is available on Netflix.
