Kim Soo Hyun‘s agency has released a statement following the indictment of Kim Se Eui, the head of the controversial YouTube channel HoverLab.

Gold Medalist shared an update on June 5th on the legal case, saying police had completed their investigation into the complaints filed by Kim Soo Hyun and the agency against Kim Se Eui.

According to the agency, police found sufficient evidence to support allegations that Kim Se Eui violated South Korea’s sexual crime laws by distributing illegally obtained private content. He has since been indicted and remains in custody.

Gold Medalist thanked those who publicly supported Kim Soo Hyun throughout the case.

“We are grateful to everyone who helped bring the truth to light,” the agency said. “We also sincerely thank the investigators and judicial authorities for examining the evidence and facts and reaching a fair decision.”

The agency also expressed appreciation to fans who stood by the actor during the controversy, saying their trust and support gave him strength during a difficult period.

The legal dispute began in February 2025, when Kim Se Eui broadcast allegations through Garosero Research Institute claiming that Kim Soo Hyun had been romantically involved with the late actress Kim Sae Ron while she was still a minor.

Kim Soo Hyun and Gold Medalist strongly denied the allegations and filed multiple legal complaints against Kim Se Eui, including defamation charges.

After investigating the case for more than a year, Seoul’s Gangnam Police Station sought an arrest warrant for Kim Se Eui last month. The court approved the request, and he has been under investigation while in custody since then.
